Christina Crawford
New York Times Bestselling Author, Christina Crawford is also a five-time Telly Awardwinning producer-director-writer for video programs spanning the range of Northwest Independent Regional TV series, video documentary and musical theater concert presentation in New York City at the famous Birdland. Christina is passionate about social justice, creativity in the arts and the world of women, which has been largely undocumented, unappreciated and subjected to centuries of gender bias and dismissal. Ms. Crawford was born in Hollywood, CA, attended college at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, as a drama major and worked as an actress in theater, film, TV and commercials for fourteen years. She then finished her degree at UCLA, graduating Magna cum Laude. After completing a Masters Degree at the Annenberg School, USC, she worked in corporate communications at Getty Oil company headquarters where she created an employee video information system and a film on founder J.Paul Getty, which he approved while still alive. As an entrepreneur, she has been partner in a small winery, owned and operated a country inn with restaurant, and started an independent publishing company. She also served one term as county commissioner in rural north Idaho where she has lived since 1993. Today, with a career that has already spanned six decades, Ms. Crawford launches a new Podcast with a focus entirely on the progress, tribulations and triumphs of women throughout the ages.
