HomeXperts have released the latest in a series of property podcasts, this time focusing on what to consider when selling your home.  Presented in a Top 10 format, Mike Gowland and Sussanne Chambers lend potential movers a slice of over 50 years’ experience between them.

Sussanne Chambers

Sussanne is the founder and Managing Director of HomeXperts.  She started the property franchise in 2009 and has nurtured its growth ever since.

Sussanne’s background is in marketing.  She has led the marketing teams of FTSE 100 companies giving her an exceptional business background. cShe is also a Fellow of the Institute of Marketing keeping her up-to-date with the latest in marketing techniques and practices.

Before starting HomeXperts, Sussanne enjoyed 20 years as a professional landlord.  Her dealings with estate and letting agents led her to the idea behind the HomeXperts brand and ethos.  She was the Director of the National Landlord Association and HMO/Student Landlord of the Year in 2011.

Sussanne was recently awarded the Encouraging Women into Franchising ‘Franchisor of the Year’ Award 2016 for her work with HomeXperts.

This puts her in good stead to answer and offer insights into Property and Franchising.

Mike Gowland

Mike started at HomeXperts in November 2016, recruiting new franchisees.  However, once his property credentials had been uncovered, he quickly promoted to Operations Director, with the key role of boosting the performance of franchisees.

Mike has over 30 years estate agency experience.  Starting as a Chartered Surveyor he has excelled in every role he has taken on since.

Mike was a regional director at countrywide.  Before this, he had held the managing directors role at Bridgfords’.

He has also ran his own estate agency and worked overseas for Brix in Dubai.
