So there's a difference in recycling and downgrading and not all trash are treated as equal at least in terms of being recyclable and useful. Some are better off being reused instead of throwing it away. I think it's also an Asian thing in reusing food containers in storing food when the initial container was user to store food as well, although from this episode it was informed that it might be harmful to do so. Very informative episode.
