Recorded 03/13/2020 when things were just starting to get real serious and surreal due to the “projected” health crisis the world is starting to experience. Things started to get crazy, people started to become furious, fearful and anxious. As part of coping, I decided to record my thoughts, feelings and become vulnerable. Publishing in a very timely manner did not come to fruition as my life becomes more focused to work - being part of the healthcare industry; to show up and be present to provide support to those in need is a priority. If you may have noticed, this recording does not even have an ending spills and I did not intend to do it that way. It was just a reflection that somehow my world stopped and my attention was all directed to my do my job, without even realizing that I needed to address my own emotions as this crisis challenges not only the knowledge and skills of those in healthcare but also challenges our vulnerability and mindfulness to our own emotions so we can be able to address and validate those who depend on us - those who we lead. “We can not spare water from our cup if our cup is empty.”
