I have never read the original book, so I have always been under the impression that this particular relationship advice came from some sort of scientific understanding. I'm surprised to learn that it is just some hot takes from a conservative (and homophobic) minister, fluffed up to fill a whole book. Yikes.

my two love languages are quality time and words of affirmation. it used to be physical touch but I've physically abused all my life so no longer my love language.

I'd heard that this book was problematic, and appreciate knowing exactly how problematic it is without actually having to pick up this book. Thank you for your service!
