With deer seasons winding down across the country, the majority of hunters can't help but think about the fast-approaching turkey season. By far my favorite time of the year to be in the woods, the wild turkey provides a great way to get outdoors and actually interact with the animal you are chasing. Aaron Warbritton of The Hunting Public is one of the best in the sport at being able to coax these birds into his spread and what better way to kick off 2023 than with some great tips and tactics on hunting early in the season and some critical habitat improvements you can do on your own land to help improve nesting sites and make areas that these turkeys want to be in. Thanks to Aaron for coming on the show again and sharing some insight into what they are doing during the spring turkey season across the country.
