This is the FIRST EVER EPISODE of the In Her Worlds Podcast! How exciting is that?! 

In this first episode, I peel back the curtains to let you know a little bit of my background as a Caribbean woman and the type of society I've grown up in, in a small island of 1.2 million people. You learn about my past career paths that left me unhappy and wondering if there was more to life than this, the serendipitious moment that changed my life, the heartbreak that almost paralysed me, and how I eventually used all of these elements of my life story to take big bold steps toward the life that I actually wanted and believed I deserved. It's a good one.

But more than that, you learn how this podcast will benefit you too. I let you in on the types of real, raw episodes we'll have, the type of people this podcast hopes to serve profoundly, the topics we'll discuss, and the types of people who will be represented and given a voice on this platform. 

My hope is that after listening to this episode, you will realize that with this podcast, I hope to create and empower a community of world-class women to dream big, and then go out into the world and take action to create the lives and lifestyles of their desires.

With all that being said, just know that I don't claim to be an expert, guru or genius in any way. All I am is a girl who is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about all things female empowerment and living life beyond the status quo. I live, breathe and think about this in my own life every day. So as i learn more and more about these topics, and as I meet other amazing people in these fields along this journey, i'll be here sharing them with you.

(P.S. If you hear loud noises in the background for a short period of time, please disregard! I now know that podcasting + home renovations are not bffs! lol)
