In/fertility in the City is all about crossing new borders in the discussion about fertility challenges and how that is managed in the workplace, but in this episode we are also crossing the Atlantic.

Canadian lawyer Fariya Wajli joins us to talk about a devastating series of baby losses in a story with a happy ending as she now has two daughters. As the chat develops, it’s interesting to hear that there are many common themes in employers’ responses to fertility issues and how professionals feel compelled to hide what they are going through.

Fariya also brings the perspective of how race and culture may play a part in how fertility is handled by leaders. Fariya Walji is a lawyer and strategic director who lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband and two daughters.
