Governor Gavin Newsom and California’s legislative leaders have reached a budget agreement to close an estimated $56 billion shortfall over the next two years. And just last week, the California Supreme Court unanimously ruled to keep an anti-tax initiative off the November ballot, the first such ruling in over two decades.
