Harris is the founder of Restorative Notions Coaching https://www.restorativenotions.com/where she works with Women who have long held the burdens of family, culture, and career on their shoulders, to discover their own truths, and feel seen heard, and valued in all areas of their lives. As a Women’s Transitional Coach she is using her 20 years of experience working with multiple organizations in Maryland, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Adenike has served and supported at-risk youth and transition-aged youth, using her education, personal experiences, life skills training, and professional development. Adenike earned her BS in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University, her MA in Women's Studies from Georgia State University, and a Professional Coaching Course – New Ventures West. Her PCC is recognized by the International Coach Federation (ICF) International Coaching Federation- Professional Coaching Association as an Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP). Adenike’s Master’s thesis,"Restorative Notions: Regaining My Voice, Regaining My Father: A Creati" by Adenike A. Harris (gsu.edu), illustrates how she initiated a ‘call-and-response’ dialogue with her biological non-abusive father, as a healing strategy. In September 2018 Adenike was a TEDx, Peter and Adenike Harris: Healing vs. Retaliation: Surviving Trauma and Sexual Abuse | TED Talk, Pasadena Speaker and in November 2018 a Guest on The Rock Newman Show Abuse & Recovery on The Rock Newman Show (youtube.com), on WHUT a PBS-affiliated channel. Adenike was a contributing writer to the #LoveWITHAccountability anthology Love WITH Accountability (akpress.org) and Forum, and she wrote for the Atlanta Abusive Relationships Examiner column. She has also been published by J’Adore Magazine, and Pasadena Weekly Online. and interviewed for LA Parent The Father and Daughter Behind Pops’nAde Created Healing Together (laparent.com) and Voyage LA Meet Adenike A. and Peter J. Harris of Pops'nAde in Downtown - Voyage LA Magazine | LA City Guide.
