For this episode I went for a zero alcohol beer with a mate - who has applied a silly French accent filter to protect his anonymity. I read a blog from my earlier years in prison and I reflect on a philosophical debate I had in an unlikely setting. It was a Tuesday at 10am, in my prison cell, having a coffee and a cigarette with a giant kidnapper named Vinny from St Helens (Oh, Aye!). We pondered on the fact that we would soon be meeting somebody who was at that very moment doing the same thing as us - but in the outside world. We didn't know who he was - and he didn't know we were thinking about him.
Consider that today, somebody is having a coffee break, little realising that the wheels of fate are turning and they will find themselves in a servery queue waiting for a prison meal tomorrow. Fate is fucked up. Enjoy?
