Joro spiders resisting the cold is unheard of. Sucks to hear about the misinformation regarding invasive species. Ballooning is so cursed to hear about. I am surprised the fact that spiders eat their own webs when tearing them down for extra nutrients wasn't mentioned, or how spider webs are made by mixing chemicals in the abdomen. Good to hear these can't bite me. Ha ha. The cool chromatophores and texture changes is neat, and squid ink being a type of edible melanin mucus combo is neat. Octopus not eating after birthing to prevent cannibalism sucks. Ha ha. Teaming up with fish is neat, and the punching is so funny.
Honestly, this podcast has such wholesome, laid back vibes. Like, it's okay if you don't know everything or even a whole lot about an animal, type of animal, category, etc. You're welcome here.
