A woman in the not-so-far future hails a cab home during a heavy storm and experiences a rare phenomenon: a human cab driver, persevering through the automation and technological advances of his competition.

Jason A. Smith is a Brooklyn based science fiction author. His work can been heard in Kaleidocast, seen in the Fall 2022 Issue of the Brooklyn based Zine "Open Book," read in a college literary magazine from 14 years ago, and that's about it.
