0:49
Let's go one
0:57
day. Cameron and his sister
1:00
Eleanor we're playing with their baby
1:02
brother, Marcus, and they were
1:04
having so much fun. They
1:07
loved playing with Marcus. There were so
1:09
many things that Marcus had to learn
1:11
and they were the best big brother
1:14
and big sister. Ever, they
1:16
taught Marcus all kinds
1:18
of new things, like how to roll
1:21
over and how to crawl and
1:23
how to talk, and they
1:25
were having so much fun. Well this
1:28
morning, something strange
1:30
happened and Marcus just started hiccapping
1:33
hip hip hickup,
1:36
and he kept hiccupping all
1:39
morning long. This was
1:41
the longest, like sometimes babies
1:43
started hiccapping, and but
1:46
this was going on forever.
1:49
There was no sign of its stopping.
1:52
Hip hickcop Cameron,
1:56
do you think he's gonna be okay? Eleanor
1:59
said, yeah, Well,
2:02
hiccups aren't bad. Cameron
2:04
said, but I hope, like if I
2:07
hope, it doesn't go on forever. And
2:10
that's exactly what happened. He
2:13
kept hiccapping, hiccupping, and
2:15
hiccapping the rest of the
2:17
day. Hip hickap
2:20
Marcus. There's nothing Marcus could
2:22
do to stop hiccapping. They
2:25
tried feeding him and
2:27
rolling him over and tickling him. Nothing
2:30
worked. So they needed
2:33
to figure out a solution because
2:36
this was a serious problem. Marcus
2:38
cannot go the rest of his life hickapping.
2:43
Eleanor, I have an idea, Cameron
2:46
said, Remember that time
2:49
we we heard the story about
2:51
that, like there was
2:54
some kind of secret lab back
2:56
in the forest, and yeah,
2:59
I remember that. She said, Yeah,
3:03
Well, um, I
3:05
wonder if they had some kind of care for
3:07
hiccupping. Let's go check it out. Cameron
3:11
and Eleanor put on their boots and
3:14
their hiking stuff and headed
3:17
on their way. You
3:19
see, they had always heard this story about
3:22
back in the forest there was some kind of secret
3:25
lab, that it was a good lab,
3:27
a place that they discovered all
3:30
kinds of new things to help people.
3:32
And and well,
3:34
Cameron wondered if maybe they could help
3:36
their baby brother Marcus with
3:39
all of his hiccups. As
3:41
they walked through the forest,
3:45
boy, there's that ginormous
3:47
river, the Uble River. Yes,
3:51
that river was a very fast
3:54
moving river with
3:56
with lots of rocks and crashing
3:59
water, and it was really dangerous.
4:03
But Cameron and Eleanor
4:05
had built a bridge
4:08
over the river one day. Yeah,
4:11
they were really good at building stuff.
4:13
And so as they climbed up
4:16
this ladder up to the bridge, it
4:19
was a little shaky. They carefully,
4:22
one step at a time, crossed
4:25
along this squeaky bridge.
4:30
With each step they took, it squeaked
4:33
and squeaked, and the water was
4:35
rushing underneath them, but they
4:37
were both very brave.
4:40
All right, Eleanor were almost there? Yeah,
4:44
Oh that was fun. Eleanor
4:46
said, all
4:48
right, I think we're getting closer.
4:51
It's got to be this way. A
4:53
long time ago, they had found this
4:55
map that it
4:58
didn't say what it led to, but there were is
5:00
something that looked like it could be that that's
5:03
secret lab. So that's what they
5:05
were following. As Cameron
5:08
and Eleanor approached what
5:11
looked like kind of like a
5:13
big cave that had a door built on it,
5:15
they knocked on the door and
5:20
a little door inside the
5:22
door opened. Why
5:27
is there? Said a
5:30
voice coming from behind the
5:32
door. Oh hi,
5:34
um, my name is Cameron, and
5:36
this is my sister Eleanor, and we
5:39
thought you might be the secret lab that
5:42
that makes things to help people.
5:44
And you see, our little baby brother
5:46
got stuck with a really bad hiccup problem
5:48
and he's been hiccupping all day and nothing
5:51
seems to stop. And we
5:53
were wondering if maybe you could help us. Okay,
5:59
um, I think
6:01
we can. And
6:03
then the door open and
6:09
standing there was not a person, but
6:12
it was an owl. Whoa
6:15
Oh hi, I didn't know
6:17
you were an owl. Eleanor
6:20
said, oh, yes,
6:23
we here at the Animal
6:25
research Lab. We are
6:27
all animals, and we developed
6:29
all kinds of amazing new medicines
6:32
and treatments for all kinds of different
6:35
problems. They
6:37
didn't know that this secret
6:40
lab in the forest was actually run by
6:42
talking animals. As
6:46
they entered this room, it
6:48
was full of all kinds of different animals
6:50
dressed like scientists in big
6:53
white coats. There were foxes
6:55
and and squirrels, and
6:58
oh, there's a bear over there. And
7:02
the owl, whose name was
7:04
Hoot, showed them all
7:06
around for a big tour. Yes,
7:09
you see, we've been here a very
7:12
long time and we've
7:14
developed all kinds of things.
7:16
But I can't exactly
7:18
talk about because their secrets. But
7:21
they've helped a lot of people who
7:24
said, Hoot, wow,
7:27
all right, Well, like we said, um,
7:29
our little brother has a hiccop problem. Do
7:31
you have anything that could help with
7:34
hiccups? Who
7:37
I think we didn't? Come on over
7:39
here and
7:42
Hoot the owl led them back
7:44
to this one room that was
7:47
full of him
7:51
all kinds of animals that were
7:53
hiccupping a lot, and
7:56
they watched as soon as they drank
7:59
this really bright
8:01
colored pink juice,
8:04
their hiccups stopped immediately.
8:07
Wow, we need to get
8:09
some of that. Okay,
8:13
here you are, said hoot
8:15
the owl. All right,
8:18
thanks, well, we got to run back home, but thank
8:20
you so much for the tour. There has been awesome by
8:23
Cameron shouted as him and Eleanor
8:26
grabbed that juice and were running
8:28
to the door. They had to
8:30
get back home as fast as they could. As
8:33
they got back home, their parents
8:36
were holding Marcus
8:39
and Marcus was crying and
8:41
see, I think it was starting to hurt his tummy all
8:43
the hiccups that he was doing. Hu
8:47
and his parents didn't know what to do, and
8:50
so Cameron and Eleanor were so
8:52
excited to share what they had
8:54
found. Look,
8:57
we found this special juice
9:00
from the animal research
9:02
lab in the forest and it's pret hiccups
9:05
and okay, whoa, whoa, whoa. As
9:08
they calmed down, Cameron
9:10
and Eleanor told their parents all about
9:13
the crazy adventure that they were just done.
9:17
And just like that, look
9:21
at that, Marcus stopped hiccupping.
9:23
It's working. And
9:26
that was the day that
9:28
not only did Cameron and
9:31
Eleanor's save the hiccups
9:33
from their brother, Marcus, but it was
9:35
also the day that they learned
9:37
about this amazing animal research
9:40
lab in their back yard
9:42
forest, and that
9:45
was just the start of many adventures
9:47
they started to have the
9:50
end
