0:24

0:26
you guys ready for today's
0:29
amazing adventure? Holy smokes,
0:31
this one's from Carter and Taylor. Me
0:33
too, let's go! It
0:42
was a beautiful day in
0:45
Costa Rica as Carter and
0:47
Taylor were grabbing their surfboards
0:49
and about to hit the waves. Hey
0:52
Carter, can you help me with this? Taylor
0:54
was struggling holding his surfboard because
0:57
it was really, really big. Carter
1:00
was really strong. Yeah, I got
1:02
you bro, here. They both
1:04
grabbed onto the surfboards and it was a lot
1:06
easier as they worked together to get to the
1:08
beach. Like I said, it
1:11
was a beautiful day. The sun was
1:13
out, the birds were singing, and the
1:16
waves were crashing. Ah,
1:18
that is a perfect day to go
1:21
surfing. Have you ever been
1:23
to the ocean before and seen the big waves
1:25
that crash onto the shore? Yeah,
1:27
waves can be really fun and also
1:30
be a little dangerous. So you have to make
1:32
sure that your grownups are with you when you're
1:34
around those big waves just in
1:36
case those waves are too powerful.
1:39
Because oftentimes the current of the water
1:41
can pull you out and we
1:44
don't want that to happen. But thankfully
1:46
Carter and Taylor were with their family on
1:48
the beach. As they walked
1:50
closer to the water, all of
1:52
a sudden the waves just stopped. Wait,
1:56
what just happened? Said Taylor.
1:59
Just a second. Carter
4:00
and Taylor started swimming towards an
4:02
island that was just offshore a little bit.
4:05
They had been to that island many times before
4:07
with their family. It was a very cool place.
4:10
And they thought, maybe if they
4:12
could look on the other side of the island,
4:14
maybe there would be waves there? They
4:17
didn't know, but they had to check out and see
4:19
for themselves. As they arrived
4:21
on that little island, Carter and Taylor left
4:23
their surfboards in the sand and started walking
4:26
around the edge of the island looking for
4:28
any clues of waves or the
4:32
source of the waves. Hmm.
4:35
And all of a sudden, Taylor saw
4:37
something. Carter! Look
4:40
at that! What is that thing? He
4:43
was pointing off in the distance, right
4:46
on the shore of the island, but further
4:48
up ahead. It looked like
4:50
there was a giant whale! They
4:53
both started running towards the whale,
4:56
who had beached itself on the sand.
5:00
Help me! Carter
5:04
and Taylor were running towards the whale, who
5:06
was crying out for help. We're
5:09
coming! We're coming!
5:11
shouted Carter. As they
5:13
got to the whale, they started pushing with
5:15
all of their might. This
5:18
whale was very large!
5:21
But these two were very strong.
5:24
Uhhhhhh, keep pushing
5:27
Taylor! shouted Carter as
5:29
he was pushing with all of his might.
5:32
Taylor's feet were digging deeper and deeper
5:34
into the sand. It looked
5:36
like he was trying to run as he was pushing
5:38
on the whale. Inch
5:40
by inch, they were able to
5:42
budge the whale back into the
5:45
water. Oh,
5:47
thank you! said
5:52
the whale. Oh
5:55
that was a lot
5:57
of work! said Carter. Okay,
6:00
how did this happen? How did she get
6:02
stuck on the on
6:05
the beach said Taylor? Had
6:15
made some waves and then I don't
6:17
know what happened, but I got
6:20
pushed on to the beach I
6:23
think it was from one of
6:25
my own waves waves Carter
6:28
and Taylor couldn't believe it. That
6:31
was the real wave maker They
6:34
were right. There was somebody that
6:36
made the waves that they ride at
6:38
their surfboards on oh And
6:41
that's why there's been no waves Said
6:44
Carter you've been stuck on the
6:46
shore. Oh How
6:48
long have you been here? about
6:51
five days I
6:53
think Oh
6:58
Well, we're so glad that we saved you in
7:00
time I don't know how
7:02
much longer a whale could have spent out
7:04
of the water said Taylor They
7:07
went on the next couple hours hanging
7:09
out with this new friend the wave
7:12
maker the whale and Carter
7:14
and Taylor learned about how the whale
7:17
made all the waves with his giant
7:19
tail splashing in
7:21
the water They asked their
7:24
new friend to make one giant wave to
7:26
send them back to shore They
7:28
grabbed their surfboards and the whale counted down
7:39
With one giant wave of his tail
7:42
a Wave came
7:44
from his tail. Holy smokes Carter
7:46
and Taylor started zooming their surfboards
7:49
down this wave all the way
7:51
to shore Back to
7:53
where their family was Shouted
7:58
