0:29

0:32

I'm so excited that you guys are on the Kids

0:34

Short Stories family and on the Spy

0:36

Kid team. Couldn't do it without you. Are

0:38

you guys ready for today's adventure? Me too? Let's

0:41

go. One

0:49

day, Charlie and Jake were racing

0:52

down a mountain on their skis.

0:55

They were snow skiing. Have

0:58

you ever done that before? Snow

1:00

Skiing is so fun. You

1:03

put on these long skis

1:05

that clip onto your boots on your

1:07

feet, and you have two

1:10

poles that you hold on with your hands

1:13

and you zoom down the mountain

1:15

as long as it has snow on it.

1:18

It would not be fun to go snow

1:20

skiing down a rocky mountain

1:22

with no snow. That is not a good

1:24

idea. But Charlie

1:27

and Jake good thing because they went

1:29

to the right place. They went to a mountain with

1:31

a lot of snow. It

1:34

was in Colorado. Have

1:37

you ever been to Colorado before?

1:40

Well, it is a beautiful place with

1:42

ginormous mountains and a

1:45

lot of snow. Charlie

1:47

and Jake were both very

1:49

good skiers. They

1:52

were on the Spy Kids team and we're

1:55

on a vacation with their family skiing

1:58

through the mountains and they love exploring

2:01

down all the different trails and all

2:03

the different mountains. And

2:06

today Charlie

2:09

found something pretty

2:11

interesting that you'll never believe.

2:14

Hey, Jake, let's go this way,

2:17

Charlie said, as they zoomed down

2:19

the mountain together. Charlie

2:22

had found a trail that looked

2:24

like not many others had gone down before,

2:28

and it looked like some fresh powder. Whoa,

2:32

dude, that looks awesome. Yeah,

2:34

let's go check it out. Charlie

2:37

and Jake turned their

2:40

skis to go down this

2:42

this back route

2:44

that not many people have been down before. Wow,

2:47

this is like the best powder

2:49

I've ever seen, Jake

2:52

said, what was that?

2:55

Charlie stopped real quickly

2:58

and pointed over in

3:00

the snow, and they were these

3:02

huge footprints. What

3:06

in the world would have done that? Those

3:08

things are like bigger than my head.

3:11

Jake said, Um,

3:14

that's weird, Um

3:17

said Charlie. Um,

3:19

should we follow him? Or well,

3:23

yeah, it's probably a bear. We probably shouldn't

3:25

like follow the tracks because it's

3:29

bears they could eat us.

3:34

Charlie and Jake kept

3:36

skiing down the mountain, keeping

3:38

an eye on those tracks, but

3:42

not you know, getting too close to them.

3:45

As they were zooming down the mountain, all

3:48

of a sudden, the tracks vanished.

3:51

They disappeared. That's

3:54

where they go. They just stopped in the middle of nowhere.

3:57

Hey Jake, Hey, Jake, slow

4:00

down. Wow, I

4:03

can't slow down. Jake

4:06

soon passed Charlie. He

4:08

I don't know what happened. The snow was like to

4:11

slip and whop. Jake

4:15

crashed into a big pine

4:17

tree. Oh, that

4:19

looks like it hurt. Charlie

4:21

raced over. Jake

4:24

was Okay, pine trees,

4:27

you know, they're kind of pokey, but they

4:29

can stop you before you hit the

4:31

trunk. Of the tree. As Jake

4:34

was picking up his poles and grabbing

4:36

his helmet that had fallen off, he

4:39

heard a sound. H Uh,

4:46

Jake shouted, It's

4:49

a yet Charlie

4:53

couldn't believe his ears. He thought Jake

4:55

was tricking him. Jake, you got

4:58

it? Are you? Are? You? You're sing

5:00

with me? Stop it. That can't be true.

5:03

Charlie and Jake couldn't believe

5:05

their eyes. Underneath this

5:08

giant evergreen tree

5:11

was a Yeti. Please

5:14

don't need us. Charlie

5:16

and Jake both screamed. They didn't know what

5:18

to do. Jake couldn't get his

5:20

skis on, and the Yeti was

5:22

shouting, and

5:29

then it said, please don't

5:32

eat me. Wait

5:35

a second, Charlie,

5:38

did you hear that? I think the Yeti said

5:40

to not eat him. Wait,

5:44

Mr Yetti, as the Yetti

5:46

was curled up in a ball under the

5:48

tree. Wait, do you

5:50

know what a Yeti is? Oh?

5:54

My gosh, a Yeti is a mythical

5:56

creature that no one has ever

5:58

seen before. It's a ginormous

6:01

creature, all fluffy and furry,

6:04

and sometimes they're white and sometimes

6:06

they're dark brown, and

6:09

they live in the mountains supposedly,

6:11

but no one had ever seen one before. Yes,

6:16

please don't eat me.

6:18

I'm very sorry.

6:21

I was just tidying here because

6:23

I saw you getting closer. They

6:28

couldn't even believe

6:30

it. The yet he was afraid of them.

6:33

Oh my gosh, Mr Yetti, We're

6:35

so sorry. We're not going to eat you. But

6:38

are you okay? Well?

6:41

I kind of hurt my foot and

6:43

I can't run away fast

6:45

enough. Are you able

6:47

to help me? Um?

6:52

Jake, what do we do? Charlie

6:55

and Jake were both on the Spy Kids team,

6:57

and so they had some Spy Kids gear in their backpack,

7:00

but with a YETI

7:03

you really think we should help the Yetti?

7:07

Mr Yettie like are

7:09

you saying? Like? What do you do? What are you doing

7:11

here? Well,

7:13

you see, I'm on the Spy Kids

7:16

team and you're on the

7:18

what the

7:21

Spy Kids team?

7:24

And then the Yetti began to tell Charlie

7:26

and Jake all about that he

7:29

was on the Spy Kids team.

7:32

He had been on the Spy Kids team for over

7:34

a hundred years, and

7:36

his job was to keep this mountain

7:39

safe. You see,

7:42

one of the headquarters of Spy Kids

7:45

is inside this mountain, underground,

7:49

and it was the Yeti's job to keep

7:51

it safe from the bad

7:53

guys. That is

7:55

why no one has been able to ever

7:58

see him before. But

8:00

with him having a hurt foot, that's

8:03

not good. A bad guy like

8:05

Dr Stinky Birth could definitely

8:07

catch him and that would not be

8:10

good. All right, Um,

8:13

Jake, grab the stuff

8:15

out of our bags and let's see if we can get some

8:18

like skis or something for the Yeti

8:20

and maybe we can help him get back to his home. Um.

8:25

Charlie looked around, and

8:28

he's asked the Yetti, Mr Yetti,

8:30

where do you live? Like? Is it far? No,

8:33

it's not far. There's a cave over

8:36

there behind those trees,

8:38

and that's where I live. Okay,

8:41

let's go. Charlie and

8:43

Jake carefully peeked

8:46

out from inside the evergreen

8:48

tree that they were hiding in. There

8:51

was nobody else around, so it

8:53

was safe. Let's go. They

8:55

started to pull the Yeti on

8:57

their skis and carefully. God,

8:59

I'm back to his cave. Oh,

9:03

thank you so much.

9:06

I don't know how I would

9:08

have done this without you. Charlie

9:12

and Jake had saved the jetty

9:14

and saved spy Kids headquarters

9:17

because the Yeti's job was really important.

9:21

All right, Mr Jetti, you need to get

9:23

some food and rest

9:26

up and get better soon. Okay,

9:29

Oh absolutely, Jake, thank

9:31

you so much for your help.

9:34

And that is the day

9:36

that Charlie and Jake not only

9:39

found a real Yetti in the

9:41

mountains, but they learned

9:43

that they have some pretty cool creatures

9:46

on their team.
