An underrated podcast that first introduced me to the BITE model! Host Sarah Steel is a great researcher and approaches topics with obvious compassion for victims of cults but pulls no punches when it comes to abuses committed by leaders or members. This was the first cult-focused podcast that I listened to and I think I've been spoiled by Steel's clear criteria and measured approach-- I'm now very picky when I listen to new podcasts about cults, and can thank Let's Talk About Sects for helping me develop a standard for research and context provided in an episode. I don't know if LTAS is coming back or if it's wrapped up but I do still recommend it regularly!

Well told, well informed

This podcast had a very strong first season. After that, I felt like the episodes gradually got maybe longer than they should be. There are so many details about each cult that I got a little lost and had to back up to find out what was happening. The interview episodes were not as good as the written ones. Eventually, I unsubscribed, but I would still recommend it for people interested in cults.
