Yup, clinical depression, thanks to James Middleton, is real! He calls it the "cancer of depression". But why is this nasty diagnosis so prevalent in our world today? There a many maladies in the world, but clinical depression can lead to suicide. Many of us don't know we have it because we can't articulate our feelings. Personally, I don't think doctors are of much assistance because they don't take the time to truly evaluate a patient to determine the correct diagnosis. Most of us hide our depression because we are ashamed or feel that it makes us less than who we are. But that's not true. My discussion is about all the "noise" in the world today, technology that invades our lives and our minds. Is there a way to turn it all off? Please feel free to share your experiences with me.
