Emma Chelius

In this episode, we talk to local swimmer Emma Chelius. During the Tokyo Olympics 2020 broadcast from the pool, Emma was often seen cheering for her teammates, waving her big South African flag, and carrying a clipboard. Her behind-the-scenes videos from the poolside went viral on social media.

Emma broke the South African 50 freestyle record in both the quarter and the semifinals at the Olympics and achieved a PB in both races. Well done Emma!
