Bluffing is VERY tricky. It's actually rarely done. If I had to put a percentage on it, I'd say probably less than 10% of the time at a poker table bluffing is used as a strategy. At "sit & go" cash games it is probably more like 5%. The reasons vary and there are many. So many dynamics play into whether or not one is able to get a bluff through. Texas Hold'em is about winning and losing so if your bluff doesn’t get through, you lose and lose money. Listen to this episode carefully and many times to incorporate or better yet, Not incorporate bluffing into your game as a strategy.
