On today’s episodes, we are very excited to speak with one of the cofounders of Four Twenty Two, Dana. We love having brands on to learn more about their brand and their origins, Four Twenty Two is no different. We speak with Dana about some of the driving forces behind the brand, which is a response to the unsustainable nature of the fashion industry. Dana shares with us how all of their tights are biodegradable, use organic dyes, and have aloe vera added to the material to give a softer feel and are antibacterial. It’s great when a brand recognizes the faults within the industry, and wants to be on the front line of doing what is best for our environment. We learn how, as a brand, they were very aware of the male community of hosiery wearers, and knew they were going to be inclusive from the beginning, as hosiery is just an apparel item that all should be able to enjoy.
