Early on the morning of April 20th, 2012, Gerard Baden-Clay called to report his wife Allison missing. He said she had gone out for a walk and hadn’t returned. When the police showed up to take a report, they were immediately put on high alert because of two distinct scratches running down Gerard’s cheek, which he claimed to be the result of a shaving accident. Soon, the entire state of Queensland, Australia would be captivated by Allison’s story, with countless volunteers joining the search.
