Only six minutes into the very first episode and I was already obsessed! Horror fans, this is a podcast that you’ll want to go subscribe to immediately!This podcast is created and hosted by Katie Southard. The goal? To get horror authors to convince Katie and her listeners why we should read their books.What an awesome idea for a podcast, right?!Thinking about the first few things I saw before actually listening to an episode… I was super interested by the premise. I’ve listened to many recommendation podcasts before, but never one where the author actually gives recommendations for both their work and works of other authors!I also loved the artwork for the logo! It’s got a wonderful vibe that it gives off. If there’s ever merch designed for this show, sign me up!Next, I have to say that I think the intro music rules! I’m a total sucker for a great show theme song, and this is already up there with some of my all time favorites.The host, Katie Southard, is wonderful. She’s upbeat and fun, and she has such a great vision for this show. As a first time podcaster, you certainly can’t tell that she’s learning as she goes- it all seems so polished!
