Hopefully, these income reports will help motivate and encourage you while you build your passive income streams. They show that you can recover from any pothole on the road to passive income success. Please note the monthly numbers have been adjusted to reflect ANY refunds and expenses thereby leaving only my net profit.

Let’s review April’s income:

Amazon Sales

After a brutal March, my income began to rebound in April thanks to an uptick in Amazon sales. At this time, that is still the only source of income for me as I’m waiting for other niche sites to start pulling in some earnings (although, one of our niche sites did make one sale). I’ve got a total of three niche sites and I have partnered with others on four additional sites. I don’t expect these sites to take off until later this year.

  • April 2014 Amazon Sales Revenue: $808 (up from last month – Amazon Total Sales – numbers rounded up to the nearest dollar)
  • April 2014 Total Cost/Expenses: $229 (up from last month – simply put, for now, this my cost for products, packaging, shipping, business-related purchases and any)
  • April 2014 Amazon Sales Net Profit: $579 (up from last month)

There were forty-three (43) total orders for the month of April, therefore:

Total Orders = 43 orders (up 5 from March 2014)$579 (Total Net Profit)/ 43 orders = $13.47 per order (up from March 2014)

$579/430 minutes total (7.1hrs.) = $81.55 per hour (up from last month)

Again, I’m in the recovery phase and do expect to see it rise over the next few months or so. Things are picking up with our niche site project and we’re finally backlinking. Nothing showing in Google yet, but a primary keyword for one of our sites is ranked #5 and getting decent traffic. I really believe this joint venture will pay off in the long run. We’re making good progress as a team.

Last Month Goals

  • $1,000 per month pure profit from Amazon – Incomplete – This figure may need to be revised downward to fully meet realistic expectations
  • Increase the limit of my Capitol One secured credit card to $450 (ultimately, this will be raised to $2,000) as a part of my credit rebuilding program – Incomplete – Getting close, though. Currently at $400.

May’s Goals

  • $500 per month pure profit from Amazon
  • Increase the limit of my Capitol One secured credit card to $450 (ultimately, this will be raised to $2,000) –
