An Australian and a Californian discuss WikiLeaks for your infotainment. This week we looked at Bradley Manning's trial, and decided that he is the hero who brought about Osama Bin Laden's demise. We looked at the death of Kim Jung Il, and cable #10SHENYANG4. We looked at Adrian Lamo "then" and "now" and updated the Aussie Bridal Imports story. We also discussed whether Big Brother watching us is useful at times or not. For more of everything, please visit www.meaninglesswords.org. Meaningless Words

PLEASE VISIT www.meaninglesswords.org for WAY MORE CONTENT, including this podcast in video format. Meaningless Words is a podcast that intends to analyze things being said in the public forum in search of the meaningless messages, ulterior motives, and will seek to back engineer the double talk to extrapolate the hidden agenda when possible. The overall purpose of doing this will be to have a laugh at the expense of the for-profit propagandists, poorly reasoned political pundits, and anti-scientific snake oil salesmen of the world. The demographic we are seeking to capture consists mostly of thinking people, though we expect there will be some who take on opinions for or against some subjects we cover without having the ability to think for themselves. Special attention will be paid to the Wikileaks publications, as there is such fertile ground for conversation within the material they have put out, and yet there seems to be only a sprinkling of salty words sewn into the popular media about them. Despite being nostalgic for the good old days that never existed and fiercely patriotic to fond remembrance of events that never occurred, we will seek second opinions of historical events through factual information in order to better understand how what we think happened actually took place and will be revisiting some details of the past in order to do so. We readily admit that these are just a few of our vices (Vietnam, Iran, Cuba, El Salvador). In order to concurrently remain current, conversation will be going on about ongoing investigations. We will be investigating the conversations that go on around them, and if there is a subject of interest where no investigation is going on, we may go on about that too.The underlying message of the show will be clear, in that there are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we do not know we don't know. So we will do the very best we can and we will pull all of this information together. At the end of each show we hope to have entertained, informed, enlightened and survived our audience.
