We recap the story of how she herself was thrust into the spotlight in March after the Government call to arms to build 30,000 ventilators. Mary covers her personal experience of playing a leading role in the Ventilator Challenge UK consortium and going from building 5 to 400 ventilators per week. A truly remarkable achievement and a real feat of engineering. The Penlon ventilator ESO2 was the first to receive regulatory approval for design and would go on to achieve CE mark in record time.
