Academy Award winner Sir Richard Taylor is the co-founder and creative director of New Zealand's prop and effects company Weta Workshop. He lead the team of artists who created the costumes, prosthetics, weapons, "bigatures" and weapons for the Peter Jackson film trilogy "The Lord of the Rings."

His crew returned to work on the three movies for "The Hobbit" and also worked on Amazon's first season of "Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power." From New Zealand, he spent an hour with Middle-earth Musings to talk Tolkien.
