Belle Vanderlaan comes on the podcast to share her story about being adopted. Belle was adopted at the age of 1, so she never really knew who her biological parents were or what they were like. CPS stepped in and took Belle's sister out of the home and placed her in foster care around the same time Belle was born. Her sister was soon adopted by a great family who shortly after decided to also adopt Belle as a baby.

In the first part of this episode, Belle talks about her biological parents and the details she has learned about them, and in the second part of the episode, Belle talks about how amazing her family is and the ways her parents made her feel loved throughout her childhood.
