I will say that hosts Lily and Sierra have their own unique stories to share given that they grew up with addicts and have experience with various mental health issues. At first I thought that the deadpan delivery at the beginning of the episode leaned too far over the line into boring, but then the hosts’ personalities popped into my ears, and I realized the deadpan delivery was likely out of respect for the victim(s) that were being discussed in the episode. I can appreciate it when hosts understand that they should speak of the deceased and missing with somber tones. But, like I said, Lily and Sierra will win you over quickly. They have a sense of humor that I appreciated because it helped to break up the otherwise sad and serious nature of the crime they were reporting.
