Our mentor this episode is an Australian doctor, lawyer, scientist  and disability advocate. In 2010 Dr Dinesh Palipana had a terrible car accident, he was driving and hit a wet patch of road and lost control. That accident robbed him of his ability to walk but didn’t rob him of his abilty to achieve. After a long recovery with many people saying he couldn’t, he finished his medical degree and he was the first quadriplegic medical intern in Queensland, Australia. He is the second person with quadriplegia to graduate as a doctor in Australia and the first with spinal cord injury. Since then he won the Queensland Australian of the Year, written a book called Stronger, is not only saving lives working in an emergency ward, he is helping research a cure to spinal cord injury. We are so excited for you to learn from Dr Dinesh, he has so much to teach you about what to do when life doesn’t turn out the way you planned.
