Nico Lurot has been a movie fan his entire life. At school, he was the one who corrected people about what actor appeared in what movie, who directed that movie, what year that movie was released (the list goes on). This love of film saw him dabble with everything from Script Writing to filming. He found his niche as an Underwater Cinematographer, freelancing for National Geographic for the best part of 12 years but sadly, never transitioning into actual feature length films - though he was part of numerous, well renowned underwater productions.Despite never making the leap from Ocean to Silver Screen, his life of movies never faded, and now he hosts an incredibly successful movie podcast, and also appears once a month on British radio, where he hosts his own movie show.
