So... I probably should have anticipated that my auditory-obsessed brain might find a new hyperfocus activity in sound-editing, but I didn't. But it has. And for someone else, this might very well be considered a good problem to be in possession of when launching a podcast with zero experience. Except nothing is so cut and dry with my brain. And partly this is due to the fact that I'm a fucking NIGHTMARE to edit, you guys. Holy shit. Not only do I speak quickly, every other sentence is literally "Ummmmmm..." followed by a long pause. But hyperfocus means I'm super keyed in and consequently going way too fucking fast to realize I'm actually cutting far too much of the pausing in a misguided attempt at efficiency. I suppose we'll call it a "turbo" edition, then.

And I'm fresh out of the braining needed to figure out how to edit out my cat meowing occasionally in the background, so no, you're not going crazy. Also, still no transitions and the like, and I actually think my ADHD comes into play here since my brain sees all of that as finishing touches and, you know, something something has issues dealing with the little details after the main bit is completed.

Mostly this is a Corrections and Clarifications episode (which really should be Corrections, Clarifications, and Context--how the fuck did I miss that? I embarrass myself sometimes), but I do talk a bit more about my dad and share the analogy I feel best describes my experience with Autism, so there's that.
