Well, my dudes.

It begins randomly and without music or intro of any kind. And I definitely fuck with the mic several times. I also use the wrong word or can't think of the right one more than once, and lose my train of thought in general quite a bit. And there are audible mouth noises (shudder) and swallowing (gross) and far too much throat-clearing (sigh). Oh, and the screensaver keeps trying to start up while I'm recording.

But mostly it's just me starting and neglecting to finish approximately 15,000 separate points and stories, never once making it around to even mentioning Autism Awareness Month, nor actually explaining what makes this a DISCO. I then get interrupted shortly before the half-hour mark, and so it simply ends. Just as randomly and abruptly as it begins. And as I had hoped to catch a trailer all in one go, I initially had zero intention of using any of it. It also kinda looks like shit.

In other words, it's the perfect debut.

And now we get to do my favorite: a multiparter.

Meaning yes, we're now doing a multiparter of egregiously long previews.

Update 4/29/23: You guys, no one who has tried can actually see the video. You know what this means? IT'S EVEN MORE PERFECT THAN I THOUGHT. I've also decided to do an actual trailer, you know, at some point. These first randoms will be designated as previews, then, and I'll probably just do one more. I also think I need to serialize this, seeing as perfectly packaged episodes--or anything, for that matter--aren't really my thing. I mean, I'm a writer, so sure, I could write the fuck out of some excellent podcast episodes. But ain't nobody got time for that.

Update 5/10/23: I couldn't do it anymore, you guys. I had to convert this to audio-only to match the other episodes, so now there's no more pretend video. But don't worry. We'll get there.
