Dr. Sheri Rosenthal is a business coach, international retreat leader and author. A former podiatric surgeon, Sheri left behind a successful practice, a surgical residency program which she personally designed and directed, and a couple of husbands to find her life’s calling. She spent 8 years traveling, meditating and studying ancient traditions of spiritual evolution — and wrote 3 books on personal growth and consciousness. I encourage coaches, authors, facilitators – entrepreneurs of all kinds to incorporate transformational destination retreats into their business models because they are extremely lucrative and clients are ready to travel and experience something amazing.  Follow a step by step process and be sure to have all your legal papers in place.

Sheri began doing retreats when she started working for Don Miguel Ruiz – famous author of The Four Agreements.  She was his Business Manager for years and learned everything there is to know about planning and hosting retreats.

Planning a Retreat is like putting together a puzzle.

Steps:

• Get clarity on what you want to teach – what are the benefits someone attending your retreat will walk away with. What is your Promise?
• Creating some really good engaging text around what the context is -great trip title, great description – will immediately qualify your client. You want your retreat to solve a problem.

The aspects in creating a retreat:

• The Initial stage including Engaging text, Trip page, etc. with Pictures
• Marketing the retreat, Filling the retreat and Monetizing afterwards
• Legalities
