Hey everyone

0:10

. Hope everyone is enjoying their week . I

0:13

mentioned that a special announcement

0:15

was coming Tuesday the 4th

0:17

for the show and

0:19

we're going to get to that in just one

0:21

moment . But I first want to say to

0:23

everyone listening I kind of reiterate

0:26

this time to time but nonetheless I'll

0:28

do it again Thank you for the support

0:30

, Thank you for all the outreach

0:32

that has occurred during season four

0:35

guests

0:47

from across the political spectrum , some more high level renowned guests such as Glenn

0:49

Greenwald , Brad Palumbo and others but it

0:51

was a fantastic season , Thoroughly

0:53

enjoyed it and really appreciate all the feedback

0:56

that people provided throughout this season . So

0:59

just want to say thank you there . Now

1:01

, getting on to the announcement so

1:04

the show is going to take a

1:06

indefinite pause for

1:08

putting out all content that

1:10

includes episodes , but also

1:12

reels , updates

1:15

, stories . So it's going to take a pause

1:17

for indefinitely . In essence , Now

1:19

, this isn't due to some oh , my

1:22

full-time job , I'm just getting pulled into

1:24

too much . It's actually because I'm

1:27

going to dedicate a large

1:29

portion of my focus and free time into

1:31

another project endeavor actually a couple

1:33

, but one mainly and

1:37

before I allude to what that project is

1:39

, I just want to say that

1:41

the past really four

1:43

years of doing this have been extremely illuminating

1:45

. The conversations I've had and debates

1:47

have been nothing short of fantastic

1:50

and really honed

1:53

in on how I speak or talk to people

1:55

or just try to learn about things . So , doing

1:58

this if anyone is listening to this who wants

2:00

to do like a podcast or just have a channel

2:02

, I would highly encourage you doing it . The only thing

2:04

is just know the commitment that is

2:06

going to come with it , which isn't to scare anyone

2:08

away , but more so , just you

2:10

know , be aware of . Nonetheless

2:13

, back to the point . So this

2:15

show has been nothing short of fantastic

2:17

and extremely rewarding

2:20

, for lack of a better term . And

2:22

the reason I'm going to put a pause on

2:24

the show and the project I'm going to

2:26

be looking more towards is

2:28

boys and men's

2:30

advocacy . Now , when

2:33

I say that , some people wince , sneer

2:35

or just blow it

2:37

off altogether , Like what the hell are you talking about

2:39

? Boys and men's advocacy ? What does that even mean ? And

2:42

the project I'm working on will . We'll get into all

2:45

of that , but that's kind of the reason

2:47

why I'm doing it , because there is so

2:49

little legitimacy into

2:52

this issue and it's

2:54

really pushed off as

2:56

something that's non-existent , even though there's

2:59

empirical studies and anecdotes

3:02

and just all around

3:04

a number of evidence that indicates

3:07

that boys and men are struggling in a number of

3:09

domains . So that's one reason

3:11

why I want to move into this , because it's one I'm

3:13

passionate about . But two , I don't really see a lot

3:15

of people doing this . For example

3:17

, I'm also extremely passionate about free

3:20

speech , almost a free speech

3:22

absolutist , and definitely a

3:24

free speech absolutist to the extent of

3:26

the law which

3:31

is protected under the First Amendment . But there's great organizations and people

3:33

who are in this space already doing fantastic work . Fire , the Foundation

3:36

for Individual Rights and Expression , is

3:38

one of those organizations and

3:40

they're doing great work . Then another

3:42

issue I'm pretty passionate about is geopolitics

3:45

. So then I hear people such

3:47

as Sagar and Jetty , who

3:50

speaks on this issue rather well , on breaking points

3:52

, and I'm sure who he actually

3:54

is quite persuading . But

3:57

when I see this issue

3:59

, the only person who I actually see dedicate

4:01

their pursuit towards this

4:03

issue is George the Tin man . I actually

4:06

had him on and that was one of the most

4:08

listened to episodes that

4:10

I've ever done I believe way over 500

4:13

listens , and then not including

4:15

any reels or shorter videos I made from

4:17

it . So that was a highly

4:19

listened to episode and received a great

4:22

number of feedback on that , mostly positive

4:24

. So that's

4:27

what brings me here today , because the project

4:29

I want to move into is called

4:31

Men of Tomorrow . I'm doing it

4:33

with three other people . In terms

4:35

of how it's looking at the moment , it's a roundtable

4:38

discussion where we dissect the

4:40

contemporary landscape for boys and men . The

4:42

first episode is coming out June

4:44

27th and then there will

4:46

be a few other episodes coming from that

4:48

. But this is just the beginning . This is the beginning of

4:51

something big . This is the beginning of

4:53

a journey that's going to take

4:55

me , I'm sure , and anyone else who would

4:57

like to join and participate and help to

5:00

raise awareness to this issue . This may

5:02

, most likely , will , involve educational programming

5:05

, advocacy , even to

5:07

the point of legislation . I envision it as , and

5:10

also just a fighter and

5:12

when I say by a fighter is not

5:14

in like the physical way obviously maybe

5:17

not obvious , but not in the physical way nonetheless way

5:20

obviously maybe not obvious , but not in the physical way nonetheless , but someone who will unapologetically

5:23

advocate for boys and men's issues . Now

5:25

you have something like Richard Reeves , who's done a

5:27

great amount of work in this boys

5:30

and men's space and I've learned

5:32

so much from . But when I listened

5:34

to him at length , especially on podcasts

5:36

and other , say , TV shows

5:38

he will do . Time to time he

5:41

approaches this issue from a project

5:43

tone , as if , like I know , women

5:45

and girls have these issues . This is why

5:47

people should care about these issues . That's

5:50

100% true . There are obviously

5:52

specific issues that affect men

5:55

and women differently and there

5:57

has to be the appropriate response towards

6:00

that and resources available to address

6:02

it and the work and so on . But

6:04

there has to be someone out there who's

6:06

just advocating for boys

6:08

and men unapologetically and doesn't

6:11

have to kind of take this subservient

6:13

position when they do so and

6:16

that's the mission I plan to embark on . It

6:19

doesn't mean that women's

6:21

and girls' issues are less important

6:24

at all . That's not even the

6:26

slightest , I would say , implication

6:29

of this . But that's

6:33

kind of part of the problem , which is there's a zero-sum

6:35

interpretation . When you talk about boys

6:37

and men , that automatically in some people's

6:39

minds means that you don't

6:41

care about girls and women . Once

6:44

more , not the case Now

6:46

. What happens next is this

6:48

roundtable discussions will be rolled

6:50

out June 27th the first

6:52

episode , but the Instagram page and

6:55

YouTube channel has been created

6:57

. So if you're listening to this , please

6:59

go and follow those pages on

7:02

Instagram and YouTube and also TikTok , where

7:04

content will be added to on a consistent basis

7:07

, moving forward . And if

7:09

you have any questions or would like to support in

7:11

any way , please reach out because , as

7:13

mentioned , I'm still figuring a lot of this out

7:16

, but I still have a path I'm walking

7:18

on and think it's the right one . But

7:20

if you have any ideas

7:22

or something pops in your mind , please

7:24

feel free to reach out on my personal

7:27

Instagram at Dan Corcoran I think

7:29

it's Dan Corcoran 28 . But

7:31

, yeah , we'll much appreciate it and follow

7:33

the page at Men of Tomorrow on Instagram

7:36

and on YouTube , plus TikTok . So

7:38

, if you listen to this , thank you . This

7:41

is not to say that the podcast will never come back or overcoming the

7:43

divide will never come back . This is not to say that the podcast will never come

7:45

back or overcoming the divide will never come back , Just

7:47

for the foreseeable future , as we put on a pause

7:49

so I can dedicate my efforts elsewhere

7:51

. But , yeah

7:54

, thank you for listening to this . Thank you for the

7:56

support . If you have been listening to this podcast

7:59

throughout the years , it's

8:01

much appreciated and I

8:03

will say the best is yet to come . So

8:05

I hope you enjoy the rest of your week . Thank

8:07

you all and take care .
