The Flyers are gearing up for a long homestand to start November with a visit from Washington and Atlanta this week at the Wachovia Center. The Flyers looked much better in the Sunday night contest in Ottawa against the very difficult and speedy Sens. With some sub .500 teams in coming into Philly this weekend, it's important that the Flyers take advantage of Washington and Atlanta who seem to be shorthanded for a large part of thier games this year. The Flyers will have the opprotunity to improve the power play and will need to continue improvements on the penalty killing unit. Keith Primeau will sit out both games this week due to a concussion sustained in last weeks contest against the Habs. With Primeau out, Coach Hitchcock will move Jeff Carter and R.J. Umberger into the penalty killing unit. You will probably also see more ice time from players like Patrick Sharp and Branko Radivojevic during even strength. If you have tickets to the Thrashers game on Saturday, the Flyers will be celebrating thier 25 Millionth Fan through the turnstyles. The lucky individual recieves nothing less than a gold mine winning prizes like: a Sharp-Aquos LCD-HD TV, a seven day trip to Florida, an opprotunity to ride the Zamboni during the intermission of the game, a limo ride to diner at the Victors club in the Wachovia Center for a future Flyers game and about 10 other very valuable prizes. All this for entering the Wachovia Center at just the right time. WOW... If you win, don't forget about Flyers Weekly. For the full rundown of prizes, click
