Brandi was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in 2016 and quickly realized her blood type was B+ she adopted the term Bee Positive and used the symbol of a Bee during her cancer Battle. Brandi lost her battle in May of 2018. Her friends formed the team BeePositive and have collectively raised over $768,000 since 2018 to fight blood cancer, vowing to raise $1M by 2025.
