It has been a full year since Plastic Imagery started, so happy One Year Anniversary to everyone. We started this months episode with a quick discussion about Rob. He was recently contracted by the City of Las Cruces to work on a photography project, and the city wants him to shoot film. While he won’t be using a plastic camera, we thought we would have him chat about what the project is, and what he is planning on shooting it with. All of this is very important to us, there has been a lot of doom and gloom in the past few years about film photography, so it was amazing to hear that Rob will be shooting this project on film, and that the city had asked him to do so, even going as far as to request that he shoot with some lesser known film stocks.
Then we got into the meat of the show. Have you ever been on a photo walk, or organized a photo walk in your town? We discussed some recent photo walks, a little bit on how to approach them and Rob and Simon shared their past experiences on photo wallks. Including that time Rob was stung on the top of his head by a bee.
Settle in, because this episode has some interesting tidbits we think you will really enjoy.
