The training wheels are off and nurse supervision ends when you leave the hospital. It can be a shock to your system when you walk through the hospital doors for the first time with your new baby tucked into his/her carseat. I sit with my buddy Jake to discuss his first two weeks as he is living it right now! His son Ryder is 13 days old and already rocking tummy time. Sounds like a future Salisbury Sea Gull to me. We discuss how Jake and Jami are leaning on their village to get some much needed rest, Jake's Mom throwing some knowledge on us with baby clothing producing zzzz's, breast feeding hurdles, and Jake ignoring the advice of sleeping while the baby sleeps. Back off people, he's got this  ;)
