Episode 6 | The Gaslighting of America

In this episode, we unpack narcissism at the personal and cultural levels. People with narcissistic traits and narcissistic personalities are all around us.   In recent years, we have heard much more about narcissism, but many people are still unaware of the specific traits of a narcissist. For example, there is a difference between a person with narcissistic tendencies and a person who is a pathological narcissist. We help bring clarity to this by defining narcissism and the tool of persuasion they use to manipulate: gaslighting.  Understanding these traits can be useful in spotting those among us who seek to manipulate and exploit us, at both a personal level and on the national stage in our media and politics.
