A man is not only defined by his gender but also by his courage, integrity, and morals. His ability to support and protect his family is also means by which to define a man. A man is responsible for every aspect of his life and must bear responsibility for his shortfalls. A man takes full responsibility for the choices he made in his life whether wrong or right.  man must know himself mentally, emotionally, and physically, or he will always take into account the negative judgments of others toward him which in turn leads to low self-esteem. A man takes the time to learn before he preaches. A man satisfies the needs of his family before his own needs. A man respects himself and others, and in turn, he is respected. A man knows the value of knowledge and to use it. Even though it's not humanly possible for a person to retain all knowledge of the world, but if a person knows how to search for all the knowledge of the world and is willing, he will found- find it when he wants it. We have to defeat our demons. We all live with different issues in life, where problems have weighted down in here and out there. However, a man was fight off the negativity in order to strive to be a better person. As men, we can't break our integrity. This speaks  volumes about one keeping one's word. In truth, all we have as men in life is our worth, which must carry the highest level of honesty. I realized in order for me to change my behavior, I had to make a commitment to a new way of thinking because control of your thoughts leads to control of your actions. To stay on the role of positive change to discipline, daily self-evaluation and self-correction wen the occasional misstep occurs and will occur. I find it important to check myself daily and to associate myself with positive people. Such people will have goal-oriented mindset and will be less likely to tolerate people or situations that were keeping them from achieving their goals. By surrounding myself with people like this, I know that they will push me to be the best man I could be and also call me out when I'm falling short of my capabilities. Birds of a feather always flock together, so as men we have to keep our circumference with righteous individuals. I'm the co-chairman of communication for the Second Chance Quest nonprofit organization. We're doing a social media takeover on April 27th and 29th. Please go to @SecondChanceQuest for more info, also a special thanks to Andrew Dodge for my interview on this podcast, The Unforgotten Truth, and rest in peace to everyone lost during this pandemic. This is Torie Chisholm, and god bless. These commentaries are recorded by Prison Radio.
