I feel meaning calling this episode a typical PRA ending, but honestly, that's all I could come up with. You have a tightening and intensifying of events, followed by scene setting that has to be relayed as recording it didn't work or wouldn't work, and then the mysterious return to how things had supposedly been. I understand why it works, but I always end up wanting more.
