As we begin to transition it is important we look forward to the future and celebrate the past without disdain. When we cast our mistaken view of someone’s character we are partnering with an accuser who desires to spend our compassion. When we decide the fate of someone based on who they are not, we are encouraging emptiness not the fullness that comes from God’s grace. We must leave judgment as a viable option for relating to our brothers and sister on earth.
