Andy Stanley calls out
0:03
conservatives who say that
0:05
the Democrat Party and
0:08
Christianity cannot go hand
0:10
in hand. I have
0:13
quite a thorough response to his
0:15
comments in a recent sermon. And
0:18
also, we are going to
0:20
look back at Pride
0:23
Month and go into
0:25
some taboo territory about
0:28
the ideology that
0:30
underpins this community.

0:50
guys, welcome to Relatable. Happy Wednesday. Hope everyone
0:52
has had a wonderful week so far. If
0:55
it sounds like my
0:58
voice is about an octave lower
1:00
than what it typically is, that
1:02
is because I'm hoarse for some
1:04
reason. I don't really know
1:06
why. I don't feel sick. I just have kind
1:08
of lost my voice over the
1:10
past couple of days. So hopefully
1:13
I will be able to get through this
1:15
episode just fine. But
1:17
bear with me if I maybe have to talk
1:19
a little bit slower or rely on producer
1:21
Brie a little bit more. I don't need
1:23
to apologize for that though. Y'all love when
1:25
I include Brie in the conversation. Before
1:28
we get into the topics that we're going
1:30
to address today, just a couple things. A
1:32
reminder, we've got no show tomorrow for July
1:35
4th. I hope that you enjoy the day
1:37
with your families. I have always loved
1:39
being an American. I am so
1:42
grateful to be an American. I
1:44
am so grateful that I was
1:46
not born anywhere else. That's not
1:48
to say other countries are bad
1:50
or that being born in another
1:53
country is some kind
1:55
of misfortune. But I think
1:57
that we can all acknowledge
1:59
that we who were born,
2:01
born in the U.S. have
2:03
been afforded particular blessings for
2:05
which we can be so
2:07
incredibly grateful. I love
2:10
the foundation of this country. I
2:12
love the ideas upon which this
2:14
country was founded. I love so
2:16
much of our history that really
2:19
does make America exceptional. I know
2:21
that there has been a war
2:25
against that idea that America
2:28
is special, that we have
2:30
anything uniquely good about us
2:32
or about our founding,
2:35
but that war really
2:37
is so misguided.
2:40
There's also been a battle against
2:43
this idea that we should put
2:45
our country and the interests and
2:47
the well-being of our country first.
2:50
You've probably seen a lot of professing
2:52
Christians fight against that idea, saying that
2:54
it is arrogant, that it is against
2:56
the kingdom of God, that because the
2:59
church of God includes people
3:01
of all different kinds of cultures
3:03
and countries, that we should not
3:05
put America first. But let us
3:07
just remember that God gave us
3:09
countries. He gave us borders.
3:11
He gave us governments. He gave us laws.
3:15
The languages, the cultures, the
3:17
differences that we have among
3:19
people groups are not
3:22
in and of themselves bad
3:24
things. They provide order
3:27
in this life that we need
3:29
to survive and thrive. This idea
3:31
of being a global citizen, of
3:33
putting the interests and the needs
3:36
of everyone everywhere at the
3:38
same level, it's just an impossibility
3:41
that actually creates a lot of
3:43
disorder, a lot of chaos. That's
3:45
why I'm against open
3:48
border liberal immigration policy because
3:50
it causes disorder. It causes chaos. It's
3:52
actually not compassionate at all. It harms
3:54
the most vulnerable. The very people we
3:57
say that we are trying to get
3:59
to. trying to help when we open
4:01
up the border. And
4:04
so I am unapologetically a Christian
4:07
who is so thankful to be
4:09
born in America and
4:11
to say that, yes, I care
4:13
about the well-being and the interests
4:16
of the American people before
4:20
the well-being and the interests of
4:22
other countries. Yes, all people
4:24
are made in the image of God. Yes, the
4:26
kingdom of God is made up of all kinds
4:29
of people. And when
4:31
we get to the other side of
4:33
eternity, we will be linking arms with
4:35
our brothers and sisters in Christ of
4:38
all different skin colors and of all
4:40
different kinds of backgrounds. And that above
4:42
anything else, of course, is our highest
4:45
allegiance, is our
4:47
utmost citizenship, if you
4:49
will. Our greatest alliance,
4:51
of course that is true. But here in
4:53
this life, which matters because we
4:56
are in a physical temporal context
4:58
right now that God has
5:01
providentially placed us in,
5:03
we have to care about
5:05
the country, the state, the
5:07
communities in which God has
5:09
purposely put us. We
5:12
care about the politics of our communities
5:14
and country. We care
5:17
about the interests and the
5:19
needs of our fellow citizens
5:21
because, again, God has placed
5:23
us here, not arbitrarily, not
5:25
accidentally, but on purpose.
5:27
You are on this tiny spot
5:30
of the universe, this tiny speck
5:32
of eternity right now
5:34
for a reason. So are your
5:36
children and so are your children's
5:38
children, just as Israel, as exiles.
5:42
In Jeremiah 29, we're tasked with
5:44
making the world around them better,
5:47
the community around them better while they
5:49
were in exile. So Christians who are
5:51
exiles in this life are
5:54
called to make the world around us
5:56
better, to make it better than
5:59
how we feel. found it once we
6:01
leave. Part of that is
6:04
absolutely politics. What
6:06
do we always say? Politics matter because
6:08
policy matters because people matter.
6:11
People matter to God and
6:13
therefore people matter to us.
6:16
And so just remember that as we
6:19
hear this very vague,
6:21
morally relativistic language from a
6:23
lot of professing Christians that
6:26
we don't need to care
6:28
about politics, that that's so-called
6:30
empire or Christian nationalism that
6:32
we shouldn't involve ourselves at
6:34
all and that none of
6:36
this really matters all that
6:38
much because Jesus is coming
6:40
back. Jesus is absolutely coming
6:43
back, praise God, but
6:45
he's not here yet. He's not here
6:47
yet, okay? We
6:49
are here in this life. We've
6:51
got work to do and
6:54
God is sovereign over all of it. Political
6:56
wins are not our number one priority
6:59
because we know Jesus has the victory
7:01
in the end, but what are we tasked
7:04
to do for his glory? Doing
7:06
the next right thing in
7:08
excellence with faith and
7:10
for the glory of God. Doing
7:13
the next right thing with faith in
7:15
excellence and for the glory of God.
7:18
I kind of change up the preposition
7:20
sometimes, but it's all the same spirit.
7:23
So all that to say, happy 4th
7:25
of July. There's a lot of good,
7:27
bad and ugly in America, but let's
7:29
thank God for the good and celebrate
7:31
our friends and our family and the
7:33
freedom that we have to express our
7:35
faith tomorrow and going into the
7:37
weekend. Also, we
7:39
will have replay episodes next week,
7:42
Monday and Tuesday. Just
7:44
FYI, on that we're taking a little
7:46
bit of a break as a team,
7:48
but we'll have a new episode Wednesday
7:50
and Thursday of next week. Also, we've
7:52
got a new merch drop, similar design,
7:55
same designs that you've seen in the
7:57
past. Our most popular design ever is...
8:00
the t-shirt and the sweatshirt that says you're not
8:02
enough and on the back but Jesus is. Of
8:04
course that's a play off of the book that
8:06
I wrote a few years ago. You guys love
8:09
that. We've got two new colors out. We've also
8:11
got our do the next right thing in faith
8:13
with excellence and for the glory of God t-shirts
8:15
and two new colors. Also I just want to
8:18
give a shout out. I've got my throat
8:20
coat tee to help me out today. I want to give
8:22
a shout out to my beautiful mug. Do
8:25
the next right thing in faith with excellence and
8:27
for the glory of God and then relatable. And
8:29
let me just tell you these mugs they're honestly
8:31
some of I think they're the
8:33
most underrated items in our merchandise shop but
8:36
they're also some of my favorite items in
8:38
our merch shop because they are so high
8:40
quality. They're made in the U.S. If
8:42
you use code ALYTAN you can get 10% off
8:45
all merchandise. Just go to alimurch.com. All
8:47
of our merchandise is there. We've got
8:50
some really awesome stuff coming out for
8:52
the fall too. But yeah get this
8:54
cute little cute little mug that is
8:56
so high quality and again made in
8:59
the U.S. Okay just one more announcement then I
9:01
promise we'll get into all of this. We've
9:03
got our first installment of Relatable

my parents and
9:18
then Al and Lisa Robertson. Al
9:20
of course is part of Duck
9:22
Dynasty. He is the co-host of
9:24
the Unashamed podcast. They have an
9:26
incredible testimony you guys. Like
9:29
it administered to me so much. They
9:31
are so transparent about their struggles and
9:33
about some really bad big things that
9:35
have happened in their marriage and how
9:37
God has just redeemed it. They've also
9:39
given parenting advice and my parents too
9:42
in this conversation and so you guys
9:44
are going to love this. Subscribe at

10:01
Alright, let's get into this Andy
10:03
Stanley story in just a second.
10:05
I'll pause and tell you about
10:07
our first sponsor first. That is
10:09
Seven Weeks Coffee. Guys, I am
10:11
like the most blessed podcast host
10:13
in the world because I am
10:15
supported by like-minded companies that
10:17
truly share our values. And when
10:20
I have a company like Seven
10:22
Weeks Coffee, this godly pro life
10:24
coffee company, the emails that I
10:26
get from the sponsors about not
10:28
me and my ad performance, but
10:30
about you guys and how
10:33
amazing you are and how quick you
10:35
are to support these kinds of companies.
10:37
It just makes my heart sink. So
10:39
thank you guys for sharing the arrows
10:41
with these companies, from buying products from
10:43
these companies. Like we are changing how
10:45
the economy works by supporting companies like
10:47
Seven Weeks Coffee. They're called Seven Weeks
10:50
because it's Seven Weeks. That
10:52
baby inside the womb is the size of
10:54
a coffee bean. And so they donate 10% of every sale
10:58
to pro life pregnancy centers. They've raised
11:00
almost half a million dollars for pro
11:02
life organizations across the country. Go to
11:05
sevenweekscoffee.com. Use code ALI. You'll get 10%
11:07
off your order. Subscribe to
11:09
their heartbeat club. Get that coffee to
11:11
your front door. Every month, you'll save
11:13
more money that way too. sevenweekscoffee.com. Code
11:15
ALI. All
11:20
right. I saw this clip going around
11:23
on acts of Andy Stanley, uh, talking
11:26
about politics in a recent sermon. We've talked
11:28
about Andy Stanley several times. I know many
11:30
of you go to his church. There
11:32
are certainly a lot of people in
11:34
my life that I love, that I
11:36
respect so much, um, that go to
11:38
Andy Stanley's church. I am
11:41
not trying to, I'm certainly not trying to
11:43
attack you and I'm not even trying to
11:45
attack Andy Stanley. Sorry. Just lost my voice
11:47
a little bit. I'm not trying to attack
11:50
Andy Stanley when he says something
11:52
publicly that seems pertinent to the things
11:54
that we talk about on this show.
11:57
I think it's really important to respond.
18:00
take policies from both sides. And,
18:02
you know, Tim Keller, who I
18:04
really respect and in
18:06
a lot of ways and who I
18:08
learned from a lot while he was
18:11
alive, he
18:13
talked about this a lot, that it
18:15
seemed that that should be the Christian
18:17
position, that kind of like third way
18:19
of taking things from the right and
18:21
the left. Look, I also
18:23
think Christians exist out of America's
18:25
political binary of Republican and Democrat,
18:28
but it's not because we should
18:30
be in the middle of them
18:32
in my view. It is actually
18:34
because we are way more conservative
18:36
according to scripture than the current
18:39
Republican party. Of course, like
18:41
we are going to have a staunch view
18:44
on marriage and sexuality, even
18:46
on things like freedom
18:51
of worship, freedom of
18:53
religion, maybe even on things
18:55
like immigration. That mainstream Republicans
18:58
aren't going to have. Now,
19:02
is there room for good
19:04
faith disagreement on
19:07
some issues that are political in
19:09
America today? Yes, I do. I
19:12
think that there can be good
19:14
faith disagreement on economic issues, even
19:17
good faith disagreement on
19:19
the right immigration policy.
19:23
I think that there can be
19:25
some good faith disagreement on like
19:27
what law enforcement looks like, in
19:30
what ways the justice system functions.
19:33
Again, I would say those
19:35
disagreements have a limited scope,
19:37
but I absolutely think that
19:39
two Christians who believe that
19:41
the Bible is inerrant and
19:43
authoritative and should inform our
19:45
worldview, should inform how we
19:47
see political and social issues
19:49
can disagree in good faith
19:51
on some of those things.
19:54
But some things Christians
19:56
cannot in good faith disagree on. We
19:58
just can't. We cannot in good faith
20:01
disagree on abortion. We cannot
20:03
in good faith disagree on
20:05
the definition of gender as male and female,
20:10
and the definition of marriage as
20:12
between a man and a woman.
20:14
These are Genesis 1 existential issues
20:17
explicitly covered in Scripture, and
20:19
thus advocating for the positions that
20:22
God very clearly articulates in
20:25
His Word. Remember what God
20:27
designs? He also defines.
20:30
It is not within our authority to
20:32
define them either legally
20:35
or not in any other
20:38
way. Advocating for those
20:40
positions is not pushing a theocracy,
20:43
as we've addressed many times, and I'm
20:45
not saying He's saying that, but just
20:47
to kind of push back against what
20:49
I know that some of you might
20:51
be thinking out there. It is simply
20:53
to do what Christians have always done.
20:55
That's one. But also to
20:57
do what everyone else is doing. Everyone
21:00
brings their full belief system to the
21:02
voting booth, to the school board meeting,
21:04
to the curriculum
21:07
writing, to their job, to their
21:09
government position. Secular progressives do that
21:11
every day. There are
21:14
pseudo-religious tenets of what gender is and
21:16
having some kind of gendered spirit that
21:18
is different than your biology.
21:21
Their beliefs about even
21:23
the climate and
21:25
economics and the oppressed versus oppressor,
21:28
many of those are not found in fact.
21:30
They're found in belief. They're found in a
21:33
faith that they have. They bring the full
21:35
scope of their faith to every part of
21:37
the public sphere, and yet Christian conservatives are
21:40
told that we are the only ones that
21:42
cannot do that, or else we are theocratic
21:45
fascists. Again, that's not what
21:47
Andy Stanley said here, but many people
21:49
who kind of share the sentiment that
21:51
he just shared say that kind
21:53
of thing. That, okay, we can believe these
21:55
things personally as Christians, but we don't have
21:57
to vote in accordance with what God's word
21:59
is. of
34:00
Justice under Joe Biden labels you a
34:03
terrorist. You'll remember that in October 2021, Attorney
34:06
General Merrick Garland wrote a
34:08
memorandum directing the FBI and
34:11
U.S. attorney's offices to investigate
34:13
a quote unquote disturbing trend
34:15
of alleged harassment and threats
34:17
to school boards. This
34:20
was by the direction of
34:23
a teacher's union who said that
34:25
their school board members were being
34:28
harangued and harassed by parents
34:31
who were simply articulating their
34:33
concerns about boys in girls'
34:35
bathrooms and the straight up
34:37
pornography that was in
34:40
their children's classrooms. If
34:42
you as a conservative Christian or even
34:44
just concerned parent, you
34:47
sound the alarm on that you
34:49
are labeled by the Department of
34:51
Justice a terrorist. What happens when
34:53
you offer pregnant women free resources
34:56
and information about adoption? Your
34:58
clinic gets firebombed. Remember
35:01
that after the Dobbs decision was released
35:03
when Roe v. Wade was overturned between
35:06
May and October of 2022, more
35:08
than 100 crisis pregnancy
35:10
centers, pro-life organizations, and pro-life
35:12
churches were attacked. Some
35:15
more than once. During
35:17
the week of the Dobbs decision, at least
35:20
38 churches and 58
35:22
pro-life clinics across the country
35:24
have been firebombed, smashed,
35:28
ransacked, or vandalized with
35:30
pro-abortion graffiti and threatening
35:33
messages. What
35:35
happens when you refuse
35:38
to get an experimental vaccine that
35:40
violates your conscience? No
35:42
kidney transplant for you. You
35:45
remember the parents of Yulia
35:47
Hicks. She was a 14-year-old. Her
35:49
parents came on this
35:51
podcast. They didn't want
35:53
their daughter to get the COVID vaccine.
35:56
And so she was refused by Duke
35:59
University, Ha Ha. hospital, a
36:01
life-saving kidney transplant. Also,
36:03
Lelani Lutali, she was also denied
36:05
a kidney transplant by Colorado Health
36:08
System because she refused to get
36:10
the vaccine for religious
36:13
reasons. That was October 2021. What
36:18
happens when you as a parent, as we've
36:20
already noted, we've had several of these parents
36:23
on this podcast, when you as a parent disagree?
36:27
When your child says, yeah,
36:29
I know that I was born Sally, but I
36:32
want to be Jack. I
36:34
want to go on testosterone. I want
36:36
to get my healthy breasts
36:38
cut off. What happens to you,
36:40
Christian conservative parent? The
36:42
state shows up at your door
36:45
and takes your child away. Same
36:47
thing happened to Yaeli Martinez in
36:50
California. What happened to Yaeli? After
36:53
the state took custody of her when she decided that
36:55
she wanted to be a boy and her mom wouldn't
36:57
go along with it, she
36:59
committed suicide. Conservative
37:04
Christians are routinely met with
37:06
the most vile name calling
37:08
and threats you can
37:10
imagine. We are routinely
37:13
depicted by the media as
37:15
stupid and selfish, as
37:19
killers of grandma
37:22
because many Christian
37:24
conservatives didn't believe
37:27
in the constitutionality
37:31
or the science behind mask
37:33
mandates or vaccine mandates.
37:36
We're routinely accused of being a
37:38
terroristic threat and the
37:41
sole obstacle standing in the way
37:43
of the survival of democracy. We
37:47
were, especially during the Trump era,
37:50
routinely called Nazi racists.
37:53
So don't give me this
37:56
nonsense about Democrats whose
37:59
agenda is a again objectively
38:02
evil being
38:04
the victims. Don't
38:07
do it. I'm not buying it. Who
38:11
is routinely
38:13
castigated, criticized, and
38:15
condemned and belittled?
38:19
Told that we are just panicking.
38:21
We're spreading division and fear and
38:23
paranoia about things. Oh
38:25
no, the legalization of gay marriage. Is
38:28
it going to lead to other kinds
38:30
of depravity and debauchery? Of course
38:33
not. That's just a slippery slope
38:36
fallacy. Sounds like
38:38
more people should have listened to
38:40
Christian conservatives then. Maybe
38:43
more people should be listening to us
38:45
now. All
38:47
right, on that note, let's see
38:50
just how far our country
38:53
has slipped since we have
38:55
accepted sexual depravity
38:57
and sexual immorality as not just
39:00
the norm but a thing
39:02
that is worth celebrating
39:04
and glorifying and even
39:06
unfortunately and very disturbingly
39:09
including children in. So Pride
39:11
Month is over. Thank the
39:13
Lord. Pride Month is over.
39:16
But I want to talk about some things that are
39:19
really taboo that we've
39:21
obviously talked about what
39:23
the Bible's got to say about
39:25
sexual immorality, the definition of marriage,
39:27
the definition of gender many times.
39:30
No one could ever accuse this
39:32
show of being cowardly or trying
39:34
to soften the truth at all
39:37
when it comes to that. All glory to
39:39
God, by the way, for
39:44
any honesty that anything that is
39:46
true that has ever been shared
39:48
on this show. But there
39:50
is some territory that we haven't really
39:52
gone into before. And I think some
39:54
of the best insight that I've
39:57
gotten into. any
40:00
lifestyle that glorifies sexual
40:03
promiscuity or sexual immorality
40:05
is from Beckett Cook from Christopher
40:08
Yewan because they are people who
40:10
have now become Christians and have
40:12
repented of the sin of homosexuality,
40:16
but they did live that life for a
40:19
long time and they know exactly
40:21
what it is like and
40:23
it is taboo even among conservative Christians
40:25
to say some of the things that
40:28
they have said and I think
40:31
it's important to highlight what,
40:33
for example, Beckett Cook has
40:35
said that when he was
40:37
living as a gay
40:40
man on the gay
40:42
scene, if you will, he
40:45
has said that that life for
40:47
the most part, for the most
40:49
part, centered itself
40:52
on sex and drugs, on
40:55
sex and drugs and lust and
40:58
partying and promiscuity
41:00
that the moral limits are
41:03
very blurred. I think we
41:05
think of modern family and
41:07
we think, well, that's,
41:09
you know, that's exactly what it's
41:11
like and they are
41:14
two people who essentially have the
41:16
same, you know, sexual values that
41:19
we do. They just have
41:21
a different orientation and
41:24
while that may be true sometimes,
41:26
I don't think that is generally
41:28
characteristic of
41:32
what the LGBTQ
41:35
lifestyle entails,
41:37
honestly, and if we
41:40
look at some of the pride
41:42
parades that occurred over the past
41:44
month, I think that we see
41:46
that very obviously. Now, I do
41:48
think that pride was more subdued
41:51
this year. There
41:53
could be a variety of reasons for that. We
41:55
explored it on a previous episode. I think
41:58
it's a good thing, but the difference is that the debauchery
42:00
that happens at pride parades is
42:02
still on display. And I
42:04
think it's just important to think about, like,
42:07
are there any pride parades that you've
42:09
either attended, I've never attended one, or
42:11
that you've ever seen footage from that
42:14
is just a normal parade, like
42:17
other people have. Celebrating other kinds of
42:19
things. Every single
42:22
pride parade that I have seen, I'm not
42:24
just talking about from conservative reporters. I'm talking
42:27
about from like, you
42:29
know, Scott Weiner, who is
42:31
that state senator in California,
42:33
like when a leftist post
42:35
his participation in a pride
42:37
parade. What you see is
42:40
very dark and disturbing and
42:44
blatant sexuality. Like at the
42:46
very least you have
42:49
almost nude men in BDSM
42:51
gear. Every
42:54
little bit of pride footage
42:56
that I've seen has some
42:58
kind of blatant outright sexuality
43:01
with sexual paraphernalia and
43:04
weird disturbing interaction with
43:07
child participants. If it really was, if
43:09
pride was really just about love, which
43:11
is what we hear that it's really
43:14
just about love. Then
43:16
you would think that the parades would just
43:18
be like your 4th of July parade or
43:21
a parade celebrating homecoming or anything
43:24
else with some rainbow face paint
43:26
and some rainbow flags. If
43:29
you want people to think that
43:31
your movement is about love, then
43:33
maybe your most
43:35
prominent celebrations should
43:38
not be demonstrations of
43:40
pure lust. Because
43:42
that's what these pride parades are.
43:45
They are celebrations of pure lust,
43:49
of a kind of depravity
43:51
and immorality that really should,
43:53
they should make us sad. They should break our
43:56
hearts because these are people made in the image
43:58
of God that are pursuing. Bring
54:00
your kids. Even
54:02
those events that I've seen footage of at the very
54:04
least have Fat Men in bondage gear or
54:07
drag queens twerking. And let me just
54:09
say, let me
54:11
just say, if you are a parent
54:13
bringing your kid to a thing like
54:15
this, what the HE Double Hockey Sticks
54:18
is wrong with you? What
54:20
is wrong with you? That
54:22
is a dereliction of duty as
54:25
a parent. You are supposed to protect your
54:27
child. You're supposed to steward their heart and
54:29
mind. And this is
54:31
going to move us, what I'm about to say
54:33
is going to move us into the to the
54:35
next part of this conversation. And
54:38
then we're going to close out because I know that we're already
54:41
going a little long today. But
54:43
I think and I'd be interested to see
54:45
if there's data to support this. I
54:48
think that there is probably a connection between
54:50
how early a child is
54:54
introduced to inappropriate
54:57
sexual themes and sexual
54:59
content and
55:01
that child being sexually
55:04
and gender confused later on
55:06
in life. I
55:09
bet the earlier they are introduced
55:12
to sexuality, the
55:14
more likely they are to
55:17
be very confused about
55:20
their attractions, about their
55:22
identity. In
55:24
their teenage and adult years. And we
55:26
already know that there seems
55:29
to be a big crossover
55:31
between people who were sexually
55:33
abused and people
55:35
who saw pornography at an early age
55:38
and those who at least
55:40
are confused about their
55:43
gender. And so I just don't think
55:45
that's a coincidence that I saw this
55:47
tweet from someone who
55:49
himself identifies as gay. I've
55:51
even seen him say that
55:53
he identifies as transgender and
55:56
he is in a relationship with the man. I'm
55:58
not sure if it's. I'm
56:01
not sure if they've had a wedding,
56:03
but he is in a long-term relationship with
56:05
a man and he's conservative in many ways.
56:07
And he said the quiet
56:09
part out loud that you're really not allowed
56:11
to talk about when it
56:14
comes to this. And I'm gonna read you
56:16
his tweet in a second and discuss. Let
56:18
me go ahead and tell you about our
56:20
last sponsor for the day before I get
56:22
to that. And that's Jace Medical. So according
56:24
to the University of Utah's Drug Information Service,
56:26
total active drug shortages hit an all-time high
56:29
of 323 in this year's first quarter. There
56:32
were 48 new shortages recorded this year
56:35
just through the month of March. No
56:37
doubt about it, we're facing a really
56:39
serious situation, but there is something you
56:41
can do to ensure that you and
56:43
your loved ones have medication on hand
56:45
when it's needed. And it's a solution
56:48
that thousands of people have opted for.
56:50
It's called the Jace case. It'll allow
56:52
you to start stocking up on medication
56:54
right now so you're prepared. It's a
56:56
personalized emergency kit that contains essential antibiotics
56:58
and medications that treat the most common
57:00
and deadly bacterial infections. It provides five
57:02
lifesaving antibiotics for emergency use. Just go

57:17
this is from Chad Felix Green on X.
57:19
He said, and this is again, this
57:22
is explicit. He said, every man I
57:24
had sex with when I was 14, knew
57:27
beforehand I was 14. LGBTQ
57:30
culture has no socially imposed
57:32
boundaries on it. They don't
57:34
police themselves. They're too consumed
57:36
with protecting their political causes
57:38
and shaming right-wing bigots. Teen
57:41
sex work is the norm in
57:43
LGBTQ centers. Trans icons glamorize
57:45
being prostitutes as teens, and it's
57:47
viewed as a rite of passage.
57:50
13 to 17 year olds are a high HIV
57:53
risk group in this crowd. Progressives
57:55
view children as sexual beings
57:57
and independent from their own.
58:00
parents, this is a culture, one
58:03
protected from scrutiny. Again, this person is
58:06
gay. He's in a gay relationship right
58:08
now. This person is not a Christian.
58:10
He's not saying this from a Christian
58:12
perspective. He's just saying what
58:14
he has seen to be true.
58:16
By the way, not that I follow
58:19
Milo Yiannopoulos, but a few years
58:21
ago, he said the same thing.
58:23
And I mean, he was silenced so quick.
58:26
He said that he said the same thing as
58:28
a gay man, that he was basically groomed as
58:31
a teenager. And he said that that's normal for
58:33
gay men. I think
58:35
that's something a lot of people
58:37
know, but don't want to talk
58:39
about. That pederasty is pretty
58:42
common in this crowd.
58:44
Now, is that to say that
58:46
it only happens in this part
58:48
of the world? Absolutely not. We
58:50
just got done talking about an
58:52
evangelical pastor last week that
58:54
prayed upon a 12 year old girl
58:56
and was allowed to remain in leadership.
58:59
For 40 plus years, I'm not afraid to
59:01
call that out or to call it out
59:03
wherever it exists. But the point is, is
59:05
that this group is
59:07
very often shielded from scrutiny, that
59:11
we are not allowed to say that
59:13
one form of sexual depravity usually leads to
59:15
other forms of sexual depravity, too.
59:18
His thread goes on to say in gay
59:20
male culture, it's viewed as a kind of
59:22
social acceptance and kindness older men took in
59:24
teenage runaways, like Harvey Milk, by the way,
59:27
treating them as adults. Many left wing
59:29
gay men recall these first encounters fondly
59:32
and see themselves as welcoming the next
59:34
generation in a sex positive environment. He
59:37
says in previous generations, when a teenage
59:39
boy ventured out to cruising areas or
59:41
gay bars, this was how he found
59:44
himself in his new community ostracized from
59:46
normal society, they'll argue. It's become tradition
59:48
as left wing progressivism has advanced, quote
59:50
unquote, sex positive is the new norm.
59:53
For queer activists, sex is an
59:55
expression of resistance and social rebellion.
59:57
Left wing psychology has fully embraced
59:59
the He
1:04:00
knew that kids needed a mother
1:04:02
and a father. He knew that
1:04:04
women and children were protected by
1:04:06
the institution of family and marriage.
1:04:08
God's moral limits are best. They
1:04:10
lead to individual flourishing. They lead
1:04:12
to societal flourishing. Christians have got
1:04:14
to be braver in standing up
1:04:16
and saying, no, that is wrong.
1:04:19
That is wrong. We cannot be
1:04:21
blinded by toxic empathy that refuses
1:04:24
to see things as
1:04:26
they are. So let us not allow this
1:04:28
to be taboo anymore. Yes, love your neighbor.
1:04:30
Every single person is made in the image
1:04:32
of God. No one is too far gone.
1:04:35
We've all fallen short of
1:04:38
the glory of God and we
1:04:40
need His grace as a gift
1:04:42
to be redeemed. But let that
1:04:44
not make us cowardly in
1:04:46
speaking out against that which is
1:04:48
evil. Let us always be ambassadors
1:04:50
of that which is good, right
1:04:52
and true. All right, that's all
1:04:55
we've got time for today. And like
1:04:57
I said, no new episodes
1:04:59
coming up. Until next Tuesday, some replays
1:05:01
coming up. We will be back with
1:05:03
a brand new episode next Wednesday. Have
1:05:05
a wonderful 4th of July and a
1:05:08
safe, happy weekend.
