In this episode Kayiu, Leah, and Alex get the first meeting between the members of their favorite couple in the trilogy, only to immediately get the whiplash of having to deal with fallout of Brashen and Althea's tryst in the very next chapter. Things don't get much better over the next few chapters, either, as Althea, Wintrow, Vivacia face crushing circumstances of their own, with Althea losing her chance for a ship's tag, Wintrow becoming a slave, and Vivacia being seperated from him. Fortunately, Kayiu, Leah, and Alex also get to detox by rejoicing in Kennit's now-legless state!
