THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRITMany talk about the Baptism of the Holy Ghost but stop at the place where when the Baptism of the Holy Ghost comes upon you and will speak in tongues. However there is just so much more to the Baptism of the Holy Ghost than just speaking in tongues. There is much more. You see the thing about the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is that it is an anointing for the believer, for the church. In Acts 1:8 it says, when the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you shall receive power to be witnesses to Jesus. In other words, this is for the believer, regardless of who they are. It says, “These signs will follow them that believe.” This is what we are talking about now.The baptism is the entrance of the Holy Ghost into your life. He comes—he fills you, he baptizes you, he anoints your head with oil, and your cup overflows. The river starts flowing. All of a sudden you go from having what we call the “well anointing” to the “river anointing.”In Acts 1:8 the word “Witnesses” refers to to three things:– It speaks of giving evidence. It means that as believers we are to give evidence of the Kingdom of God that is present. It is not enough just to talk about it, we must prove that what we preach is real by it manifesting in our midst.– It also refers to the great commission and the preaching of the Gospel to the nations.– The word “Witness” can also point to martyrdom. The laying down of our lives for the things of God. When we wholeheartedly give ourselves over to the plans and purposes of God.https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/world…https://play.google.com/store/apps/de…https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apolloengine.worldrevival&hl=en&pageId=116384338953270978634
