This week, the Revs chat with Shannon Hoffman, education advocate, community organizer, and fellow social-justice-dreamer.  Shannon has big hopes for her community in Denver… and they don’t involve another trendy brewery tour. She talks with the Revs about moving from allyship to abolition, the spiritual costs of whiteness, and how she plans to keep moving forward with persistence and hope. The quote that Shannon mentions comes from historic abolitionist Elizabeth Chandler: “No power to meliorate the horrors of slavery! American women, your power is sufficient for its extinction!”
