Recently I merged the clan I was leader of, InPizzaWeCrust, into WarAndGlory and GalaFam. Learned a few lessons along the way. Look for at least a level 12 clan to all of the clan dungeon benefits, other tips on finding a clan home where you can flourish.
Yes, being in a high level active clan with great leadership is as awesome as you imagine.
