The RunCoCo service at the University of Oxford University shows how you can run a community collection online and engage with your community. Have you seen the success of Europeana 1914-1918, The Great War Archive, Woruldhord (Anglo-Saxon and Old English), Europeana 1989, Children of the Great War, and Merton College 750th Anniversary? They’re gathering personal stories (user-generated content). You can do this too - using “the Oxford Community Collection Model” taught by RunCoCo. RunCoCo has FREE online guides, resources and training videos to show you how.
