Smoke from local wildfires is not expected to spread as far downstream today with lighter winds forecast. However, Those sensitive to smoke should monitor conditions and take necessary precautions. Days two through seven. Tuesday through Sunday. A few strong storms are possible along and east of the South Central Mountains on Tuesday afternoon and evening. Small hail and gusty winds are the main threats. Gusty winds from virga or dry thunderstorms can be expected on Wednesday west of the Central Mountain Chain. Gusts may exceed 50 mph.
